One thing I’ve realized: just like logic and debate, empathy and kindness are tools.

Yes, they have the stereotype of being morally just. Sometimes, they aren’t.

They also have the stereotype of being feeble or weak activities. Most of the time, being kind and empathetic takes immense strength.

Used correctly, and by those with leverage, the skills can help you understand, and change, those unchanged by simply facts.
