Hard truths here. I appreciate them, though.

The difficulty is ensuring that a designer, who might be applying to much more than just UX work, can develop resumes that reflect the job culture of a space. UX, nonprofits, multilateral institutions, and many other have such varying styles; and they’re so rigorous on what good resume style is.
